Why We Need Donations
Founded in 1967, the Bay Area SPCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists solely on donations and shelter earnings. We receive no government funds to help cover our operations. Frequently our income from adoptions, donations, and other sources does not meet our expenses. Please consider donating to the Bay Area SPCA.

Corporate Support
Many organizations offer matching gifts for employee contributions to the charities of the employee's choice. Through such programs, the financial contributions you make to the Bay Area SPCA will be matched, in whole or in part, by your employer. To find out more about matching gifts, please contact Human Resources at your place of employment.

Sponsor a Kennel
At the Bay Area SPCA, you can sponsor a kennel. Because kennel adoptions make great gifts, our program is very popular. Costs for kennel adoptions are $200.00 for dog or puppy kennels and $100.00 for cat kennels. Once your custom made sign is mounted on your adopted kennel, an announcement and photo will be sent to you. Your sign will remain on your adopted kennel for one year. You may renew your kennel adoption. All funds from our kennel adoption program go to the Bay Area SPCA general fund. Download the Kennel Adoption form now and contact KennelAdoptions@BayAreaSPCA.org.
